NBA BBVA Rising Stars Challenge 2012 Highlights & Video Replay

The NBA All-Star 2012 is officially on! Beginning the weekend event is the exclusive BBVA Rising Stars Challenge live streaming on TNT on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 9:00 PM ET. The event features the best rookies and sophomores of NBA 2012 season.

Update: Teach Chuck won the 2012 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge 146-133. Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving was named BBVA Rising Stars MVP. Irving scored 34 points and dished 9 assists. He shot 12-for-13 from the floor and a perfect 8-for-8 from behind the three-point line.

Wizards guard John Wall took the ball behind his back and finished with a dunk that was beyond impressive for a point guard. Check the video highlight below.

The game on this year edition of challenge divided into two twenty-minute halves which quite the same to college basketball. Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal will serve as team general managers. Ron Adams of Chicago Bulls and co-head coach Steve Kerr man for the team Shaq while Maurice Cheeks (Oklahoma City Thunder) and co-head coach Mike Fratello for team Barkley.
