The fight night actions headlining the main event of Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger for the welterweight rumble scheduled on February 15, 2012 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium, Omaha, Nebraska. The event co-headlined the heavyweight battle of Stefan Struve and Dave Herman.

Diego ‘The Dream’ Sanchez (25-4) was previously known as "The Nightmare". The man is the same like with his name, he leaves one one! He is a former lightweight fighter who moved up to welterweight after the loss to a superior BJ Penn. He has won fights against Brazilian Paulo Thiago and Dane Martin Kampmann.

Jake ‘The Juggernaut’ Ellenberger (26-5) is brilliantly capable of heavy fists, and the ability to take a punch, which is a problem for Sanchez. He knocked out Jake Shields at :53 of the first round.
